SHORT BREAK & 1 DAY PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS

1 day Improve Your Photography Workshop

I have had several enquiries from people who would like to have a 1 day workshop in order to improve their photography techniques. I am more than happy to provide these, by prior appointment, at any convenient time. Workshops to be based in Tavira and participants are required to make they own way to the city of Tavira.

Workshop Price - 80 Euros per person.

PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS - 4 days

Monday 10th May 2010 - 4 day photography workshop for a maximum of 6 persons

Monday 17th May 2010 - 4 day photography workshop for a maximum of 6 persons (Sorry! This is now fully booked)

Monday 14th June 2010 - 4 day photography workshop for a maximum of 6 persons

Monday 20th September 2010 - 4 day photography workshop for a maximum of 6 persons

All photography workshops will be based in Tavira, recognised as the most beautiful of all the Algarve’s towns. Accommodation will be provided in one of the town’s new four star hotels. We will be undertaking a full day’s activity starting with capturing the early morning light and working throughout the day and early evening. We will be travelling throughout the Algarve with one trip planned offshore by boat.

Our first day will start with an introduction to the workshops and a general discussion on what participants are hoping to learn. I will assist anyone who requires some basic understanding of how their camera works and, as such, I do recommend you bring your camera’s manual with you. Incidentally, I always carry mine with me. My aim is to make the workshops as interesting and varied as possible. We will be undertaking landscape, architectural, flower and plant, people and places, macro and urban portraiture. So our days are going to be quite active. Before we finish each day, we will download our images and review and comment on the day’s shots.

Although some of our locations are within walking distance of the hotel, we will be travelling to further afield locations in our own comfortable vehicle. This will provide us with a wonderful opportunity to capture the magic of the Algarve and I have some quite exciting excursions planned for you.

PRICE

The price for the workshop is £950 per person. A deposit of £250 is required with your booking and the balance payable no later than one month prior to the workshop. Payment may be made direct to my UK bank.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN PRICE?

Transfer from the airport to your hotel, accommodation, continental breakfasts, lunches, transport to all the locations of the workshops and my tuition and advice whenever required during the workshops.

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN PRICE?

All flights, personal insurance and meals not already mentioned.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

Your camera and accessories, flash gun, charger and battery, flash cards, tripod and camera manual. In general, it is quite warm during this time of year so light clothing, comfortable walking shoes. It is a good idea to bring a warm jumper or similar to wear in the evenings
